What we do is rotational moulding. Our manufactured products are typically quite large with a hollow design, often used for high capacity liquid control.

Products are built for many years of reliable and repeated use in demanding environments. By the end of their long service life we encourage their return for reprocessing into recycled products.

We Make Rotomoulded Products
You will see our high quality Melro branded products in major plumbing, hardware and irrigation retailers throughout Victoria. We also mould for major brands in a diverse range of product categories, some of which you will see as you explore this site (where we are permitted to do so).
With only a few exceptions, our rotomoulded plastic products have a hollow design. They are also typically quite large. Additionally, we have a team of custom plastic fabricators who can construct unique designs incorporating a range of custom fittings, poly pipe, plastic sheet, foam insulation, and of course rotomoulded parts.

Melbourne Rotomould is a passionate and long term member of the Association of Rotational Moulders Australasia (ARMA), and a strong supporter of our local Rotomoulding industry.
Director Tim Leed is past president of the Association having contributed for a number of years on the board. Operations Manager Jessica Leed is a current board member.
Tim, fellow director Steven Kyval, and Jessica have been presenters and contributors at rotomoulding conferences. All staff who have attended ARMA events have greatly enjoyed keeping up to date with the latest developments and sharing information with moulders from around the world.
Certified Products
Our above ground water tank range is WaterMark certified (Licence: WMK 21567) and certified to Australian Standard AS/NZS 4766 Polyethylene Storage Tanks for Water and Chemicals (Licence: SMKP 21567). This standard represents world's best practice for all aspects of production from product design and raw material selection through to manufacturing process assurance and testing.
We purchase Australian Made raw materials certified to AS/NZS 4020 and 2070.
We are also an OEM manufacturer of below ground tanks for wastewater treatment businesses. Melbourne Rotomould is licenced to manufacture to Australian Standard AS/NZS 1546.1:2008 On-Site Domestic Wastewater Treatment Units - Septic Tanks for certified business customers (Licence: SMKH 25370).
